Microsofts massive Outlook and Teams outage has gone on for hours
Microsoft announced on Monday that it is experiencing delays after identifying the cause of a major outage affecting Outlook and Teams, and implementing a fix for the issue.
By noon ET on Monday, outage-tracking site Downdetector reported over 5,000 user-reported problems, though this number likely does not capture the full extent of the outage.
“We have started deploying a fix, which is currently being implemented across the affected systems. In parallel, we are manually restarting a subset of machines that are in an unhealthy state,” the company stated on X earlier in the day.
