A total of 44 maiden overs were bowled in the 2024 tournament, significantly surpassing the previous record of 21 maidens set in 2012. These 44 maiden overs account for 28.95% of all maiden overs ever bowled in men’s T20 World Cups, showcasing the exceptional performance of the bowlers in this year’s competition.
