Smith County business has to pay a fine $890K for connection with illegal gaming.

As per Head prosecutor Jacob Putman, bodies of evidence have been forthcoming against the business, as well as against partners since the store was closed down. Putman said that 2019 assault was the second time the store had been struck and closed down.

In court on Thursday, the organization argued no challenge to a charge of misleading business practice, so the charges against the partners were excused.

As a component of the understanding, the enterprise paid a fine of $890,322.68, which was the sum the business made while in Smith District.

Putman said that "Do not come back" This is illegal and it is not tolerated in Smith County.

Putman said they claimed to be operating a music business when really, they were operating a game room.

There has been some confusion about the game rooms law, some people seem to think that they are illegal in Texas

We authorize the laws of the Province of Texas, the sheriff's office does too," he said. "We let game rooms know, they have not wanted here in light of the fact that the law denies them."
